I'm currently based in Bangkok Thailand. I love this country, I understand the language, culture and you get great value for your money. One such instance of \"value\" for your money is how you can get unlimited internet for one low price.
While 30 GB is a lot of data, what my Thai friends who use this sim card tell me is that your data starts to become throttled the more you use. With Dtac I've had no issue at all so once I pop it into my AIS Pocket Wifi I have a mobile hotspot for both my laptop, phone and any friends who are visiting that need internet.
It's also helpful to use because when I'm somewhere that does not have wifi like Amazon Coffee or somewhere that has slow internet like Starbucks (in Thailand speeds are awful) it's useful to have in order to connect both my laptop and phone.
So I'll leave it there for this short write up on how to get unlimited internet in Thailand. If you're going to be staying here for a year or more I highly recommend getting the unlimited Dtac sim card at a minimum.
To address the problem, dtac and its partners have launched a one-year pilot project that introduces this IoT based solution to monitor, analyze and predict the factors affecting cultivation. The new solution will allow farmers to have access to a more precise farming system that should help increase crop yields, control quality of agricultural products and reduce production costs.
dtac is responsible for the wireless internet connectivity and cloud computing, while NECTEC will develop and research on sensory system with the aim to look for indicators of planting standards. Meanwhile, DOAE will recruit 30 eligible applicants across Thailand to take part in the trial periods.

Yes. This tool is mainly intended for mobile operators. It has been integrated into an existing cockpit that already includes internet performance statistics from all operators in a country, as well as access to speed-test results and coverage data. These data can be visualized by applying filters by technology (no coverage, 2G, 3G, 4G, 4G+, 5G) over a configurable period (only the last 2 months for example). It's a great tool to track the deployment of new technology, monitor competitors and identify poor signal coverage areas.
Ms. Kalaya started FabCafe, a creative space in Bangkok, Thailand, which combines a work-friendly cafe, a 3D printing workshop and a classroom. She had already been welcoming children for tech-focused workshops when she first met with the team from Young Safe Internet Leaders Camp, a project from dtac, a Telenor Group company. Together, they developed a game changer for Thailand: a metaverse workshop for children to bridge the gap between digital skills and life skills.
Now in its sixth year, the dtac Safe Internet program reached 300,000 youths in 2021 alone. And thanks to Kalaya, the program is now a blend of hard and soft skills that equips teens with critical tools to navigate the online world safely and become more creative, productive and innovative netizens.

The use of 5G technology is rising all over the world and Thailand has been preparing its infrastructure to adopt this new, next generation for speed and connectivity. It is simply the next step in cellular connectivity. 5G is going to be able to achieve speeds of up to 24 times the current 4G networks, making its applications go far beyond just a mobile phone and internet surfing service.

Maintaining an internet connection on your travels is important as you need it to keep in touch with family, friends, and work. You will also need it to look up directions to your hotel, and restaurants or simply order a cab, among many other things.
Nowadays, it is very easy to get options to have cellular internet in Thailand. You can choose from a list of alternatives, which have different features and prices, so you can choose the one that best aligns with your needs.
This month (September 2022), I had an opportunity to travel to Bangkok, Thailand for a couple of days. In this short trip, I bought dtac Happy Tourist eSIM for mobile internet. Here is my review and why I think this might be the best travel eSIM for Thailand .
Although it seems that you are able to buy this eSIM from dtac directly via the Happy Tourist eSIM webpage, I personally recommend that you buy it from one of the resellers listed on the webpage.
After landing in Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) while still in the airplane, I turned on the dtac eSIM and set it for Cellular data on my iPhone. It soon connected to dtac 4G network and I was able to use internet right away.
Throughout my stay in Bangkok, I had no coverage issues with dtac network. I regularly checked and compared it with AIS - the No.1 carrier in Thailand - with my other cellular plan but did not find any meaningful differences at least in Bangkok.
But still, I had no downtime or cut-offs whatsoever and was able to be connected 24/7 with decent internet speed which is what mattered to me. I was able to use internet for Google Maps, Grab, web surfing, social media, etc. all without issues. Over all it was good enough for me and for travel purposes.
The wife and I had no problems with the Happy Tourist SIM card throughout our holiday. In rural Khao Yai, our speed got reduced to 3G sometimes. But it was definitely still fast enough for our internet needs, such as checking Google maps, surfing the web, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc. In downtown Bangkok, we enjoyed strong 4G data most of the time.
On the whole, I was very happy with the Klook DTAC Happy Tourist SIM. I enjoyed great internet connectivity in both Khao Yai and Bangkok. The buying and collection process was fuss free too. Click here to buy the SIM card.
