It's convenient here because you can try different bet types and track the results right in your account. I also recommend reading bettors' blogs and forums where people share their mistakes. It's also great that this site sometimes posts tips and news - they really help you understand the market logic.
I totally get that feeling of wanting to go deeper. I'm the same way – I always want to know the 'why' behind things, not just the 'what.' It's like trying to get better at something like Doodle Baseball. You can read all the tips and tricks, but until you're actually up at bat, timing those swings just right, you don't really learn.
